Successful restoration of lands and landscapes for biodiversity largely relies on influencing land that is under some type of farming. UK agriculture faces many challenges, including demands for increasing food production in a world where the population is set to increase to 9 billion by between 2040 and 2050. This index page includes links to some key resources, including the output from a seminar on farming and conservation in September 2009 and from which a policy paper is being developed in association with some of the contributors to that meeting.
